Shell Offshore Alaska - What’s Out There?
According to estimates from the Minerals Management Service (MMS), the Alaska offshore could be home to more than 25 billion barrels of oil and nearly 120 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. Against the backdrop of the 16 billion barrels of oil that have been produced on Alaska’s North Slope, we believe the Alaska offshore could prove to be the next major chapter in Alaska’s oil and gas history.
