Shell Technical Scholarship
Please read the instructions below carefully prior to completing the scholarship questionnaire and online application.
NOTE: You will be able to apply to Shell’s online application system starting on February 4, 2013, with an application deadline of March 31, 2013. All other scholarship documentation and application forms (outlined and attached below) can be completed immediately and should be submitted at your earliest convenience.
To be considered for the Shell Technical Scholarship, candidates must complete an online application. Candidates should include a resume and an unofficial transcript as attachments to the online application.
In addition to the online application, to be considered for the Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship award, students must complete and mail all documents listed below (items 1-3) to the following address:

- Completed Shell Oil Company questionnaire (download questionnaire).
- Completed degree plan signed by your College Counselor or Advisor.
- Two letters of recommendation. Letters from employers or instructors must be on letterhead and should include phone number of the sender.
The first letter of recommendation should be provided by a guidance counselor, teacher, or school official who is familiar with your academic work.
The second letter of recommendation may come from an employer or from a personal contact (not a friend, classmate, or family member) that has knowledge of your activities outside the classroom (e.g. work experience, community service, extracurricular activities, etc.).
Upon receiving the completed online application, the application will be screened. Selected candidates will be scheduled for interviews in person or via telephone.
By late summer, all applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application.
Scholarship checks will be sent to the financial aid office to be applied to the student's account.
