Occupational Summary

Maintenance team leaders in the petrochemical industry supervise maintenance crafts to execute work safely in their designated area or unit. You are responsible for identifying variances in work scope, lining up the crafts, coordinating work materials, managing budgets and schedules, and managing the performance/quality of work of their team. Strong math and science skills required.

Minimum Requirements

Two-year degree associate degree or equivalent work experience (boilermaker, welder, pipefitter, inside/outside machinist). Equivalent years of military service may be acceptable, in lieu of experience.

Pennsylvania Chemicals Project

The Pennsylvania Chemicals plant will be located on the banks of the Ohio River in Beaver County. It will produce two main classifications of polyethylene. The project will bring new growth and jobs to the region, with an expected 600 permanent employees once completed.
